Case Study: Electronics R&D puts DC Electronics in pole position

David Cunliffe, co-founder and Managing Director of DC Electronics has a wealth of experience in the engineering and motorsport sector, serving his apprenticeship in the RAF before moving to Nissan Motorsports Europe. During his time at Nissan, David noticed a gap in the market that resulted in the creation of DC Electronics (DCE) in 1997.

Today, DCE manufactures custom-built electrical systems for the motorsport industry, as well as offering a range of unique Electric Power Assisted Steering (EPAS) suitable for motorsport and road use.  Having opened a second facility in the United States in 2012, DCE has global reach, supplying products to every genre of the sport, from national-level club competition to Formula 1, NASCAR and WEC.
