MPA on track for success with Rail Alliance membership

MPA is very excited to announce that we have recently become a member of the Rail Alliance, the largest business-to-business networking organisation in the UK’s rail sector.

What is the Rail Alliance?

Founded as a branch of the Manufacturing Advisory Service, for the last ten years the Rail Alliance has been bringing supply chains together through its memberships, having now evolved into a standout organisation for all businesses with an input into the rail industry. What makes the organisation special is it’s variety of members, which allows businesses to be innovative and strive to be better with the help of fellow Rail Alliance supporters.

Why become a member?

Part of MPA’s desire to become a member was the shared opinion we have of SMEs, believing them to be the strong backbone of the UK economy and highlighting the nation’s drive and energy to be better. With a number of SMEs in the rail industry our opinion is highlighted in the growing resurgence of rail. Rail orientated projects, such as Crossrail, are active all across the UK, and planning for more sophisticated projects to improve the country’s infrastructure is well underway. With new rail projects across the country, for MPA it means one thing: development of innovative solutions to overcome project barriers. With our new partnership we will be able to help support these innovative solutions through our R&D Tax Credit service, allowing businesses to invest more capital in their research and development.

The Rail Alliance and the businesses and people it represents or reaches out to, are just the type with which the MPA wants to communicate. The Innovative, and committed businesses who focus on the growing sector that is the UK Rail Industry in its widest sense. It is an exciting time to be involved in the Rail industry and the Rail Alliance reflects that excitement for us.

Justin Culver R&D Consultant at MPA

The Rail Alliance looks to promote networking and brings together supply chains through the multiple events that it holds and attends each year. One of the biggest events they hold is Rail Live which, when it was last held in 2016, had over 6000 visitors and 300 plus exhibitors.

This year’s Rail Live will be over two days, the 20th and 21st June, at the Quinton Rail Technology Centre and features a full timetable of events. This year’s show will also showcase a real 1km long test track alongside the ground space allocated to exhibitors, allowing them to demonstrate their products and services outdoors.
