In 2007, Michael Price sets up MPA. Soon after he begins working with technology-based businesses to improve their innovation capabilities, mainly through the provision of R&D tax credits

In 2008, MPA moves into its first office at 98 High Street, Olney.

Accounting Manager

As Accounts Manager, you will be instrumental in developing and providing leading accountancy services, building long-term working relationships and adding value to our client’s businesses, which are both interesting and varied in nature. You will be responsible for a small team at various stages of study and ability, providing leadership and ensuring development to build their capability into the future. As well as overseeing the day to day preparation of accounts for your review and sign off, you will be liaising with clients to identify opportunities, provide advice on profit extraction, selling and exit planning and growth strategies.

This is a key role within our business and as such demands a qualified professional, or a professional with equivalent experience and within accountancy practice.  Your excellent leadership, people and communications skills, both verbal and written will be instrumental to your success in this role.  You will be able to demonstrate your clear understanding of UK accounting principles through your strong technical ability and have a good working knowledge of relevant systems.

You will clearly understand the contribution that you make to the business and how meaningful your work is, with your efforts and achievements being recognised and rewarded on both an individual and an overall business performance basis.

Telemarketer

As lead generator, you will be instrumental in promoting our services to the leaders of innovative UK businesses.  Using data and Marketing tools to generate inbound and outbound leads, you will build relationships with key decision makers to nurture and maximise the Sales and Marketing pipeline.  In addition, you will maintain accurate, GDPR compliant data records in HubSpot CRM so that data can be trusted and utilised through the whole client lifecycle. To include, providing clear, accurate and enriched briefing notes for the Business Development team, to improve the possibility of converting a lead to a sale.

This is a key role within our business and as such demands a talented telemarketing professional, with previous B2B lead generation experience. Your excellent organisational and communication skills, both verbal and written, will be instrumental to your success in this role.  As will your strong working knowledge of sales tactics and techniques, combined with Marketing tools and analysis.
